Fun thoughts for Valentine's Day....

I was cleaning out my closet and found some really sweet poems and letters from Aaron. I decided rather than posting something sweet and sappy (since I've cried enough...) I thought I had to post some fun quotes from some books before I throw them away.....

The Marriageable Mormon Maiden's Notebook
Dedicated to all who are going through it or have or will: Copyright 1977

1. Zale's having sale on diamonds. Send clipping to: Hal, Fred, Tom, Dave, Mike

2. How to make Jim feel taller than 5'6"-- Wear flats and walk with knees bent.
--- Drop Jim. See chiropractor

3. How to convince Fred I'm both domestic and artistic.
A. Dust piano while playing it.
B. Tap dance wihle doing dishes.

4. Professional goal:
Get into the construction business-- Making tabernacles for little spirits

5. Bishop suggeted that we should wear only one-piece swimsuits....which piece?

6. Call Mike's mission president. Did he really make them promise to hold hands until after they were married?

7. Bishop says that my sweet spirit is worth more than rubies and pearls. (Ask him why Ruby and Pearl get more dates than I do)

And some ideas from the book Up Date- Deseret Book, 1981.
1.Six people go to a drive-in restaurant. Don't take a car, but pretend you are in one. "Drive" up to window and order. When finished, back up and skid out of parking lot.

2. Go shopping and see who can buy the weirdest and or cheapest thing for the other person.

3. Have a whipped cream fight.

4. Hunt for four-leaf clovers and make the wishes come true.

5. Dress up like a gangster and kidnap your date gangster style in an old car. Blind fold her and take her to a cabin for dinner and old movies...

I was picturing more the first car than the second one...)

Starting to look more like Daddy

It was so hard to narrow down which pictures to put up. At 31 weeks, there wasn't much room for him to move around, so we had to push him quite a bit to get some face shots...which turned out adoreable. He kept putting his hands up to his face almost to say "Leave me alone! I'm trying to sleep"

He was starting to frown...I've seen this face trying to wake his dad up for church :)

Almost looks like that could be some hair...He's trying to hide his face
Biting his lip, showing off more of a Samoan nose
Starting to cover face with left hand
So cute

Back to sleep

Placing his face in the palm of his two hands

New Nielsen babies....

My sister Hannah had her baby William "Joseph" Gizzi on February 2nd. He was 9lbs 1 oz, tieing my mom for her biggest one so far. I'm not so sure he looks like a newborn. He already does not fit in new born clothes and is in size 1 diapers.

My parents first got "Trinity" when she was six weeks old. My parents decided to do foster care and so far she is the only one they have gotten. Aaron has been in love since the first time he met her (at 5 months in this picture)

Well lucky for us, no one on her mom's side wanted her. Dad is a fugutive and for anyone on his side to claim her, he had to come to court to prove they were blood relative. On Feb 2nd, the day Joseph was born....Lucy Claire Nielsen was officially adopted by my parents.

Diaper Pole....

Just curious if some of you have preferences on what diapers to get and which ones NOT to get....
