We are so in love with Israel!

I could not have made this last week with out these three! We were so lucky to have dad come home Sunday on Israel's due date! We had Israel 9:53 pm on Thursday April 16th. Leaving out those fun details of labor and delivery....my only downside was I pulled my neck and today is the first day I could really get out of bed. I nurse my little guy and I have three people fighting over who will change his diaper and play with him. They have been amazing....I have food brought to me and my house stays clean. I'm sad this will all be ending next week, but I'm glad I'm getting back to myself. I love being a mommie!! You can tell by the pictures how much his daddy is greatful to be here too! Plus that Auntie and grandma!!

We love Israel!

Some Day My Prince

Many of you are familiar with Snow White singing at the well and hoping to some day find her prince..... Well I found him....he's a little darker than I remember picturing him as a youngster watching Disney. This is his senior picture, a few months before joining the Marines....

He's gotten a little bigger over the years and I know he's mine for good. I just hope he'll make it home safely......We are so greatful the military is even considering lettting him come home for a few weeks. Poor Aaron has been trying to get home since last Monday. He's been waiting each day to say they have a flight. As of late last night, they now have him at the airport where he is suppose to fly out of, just no flight yet. We are hoping he gets a flight today and we will have him home for Easter....Thank goodness my other "little" prince is hanging on for daddy. Sunday is the due date!

Israel's ship has landed....

I called up my grandma on Tuesday and she tells me she's going up to VA to drop off my boat. I had orignially told her that maybe they could drop it off there, since I didn't know when my house would sell and if I did move in with my mom, how would I get it up there. So they had a detour and came to my house instead Thursday night. I'm glad they did, because grandpa got a Uhaul for this boat so he won't have to take it a part and put it all together again...its all in tact just waiting for Israel. The pictures can show you that it is even cooler than the last pictures I posted.

He keeps telling me how much fun he's had making the boat. Grandma made the matress and bumpers...check out the flag in the back!
Little rivets.
Little inside details...

All I have to do at night is put my hand out and rock him back to sleep (I may have to feed him at some point too....)

Thank you grandpa, I love it!!! As grandma calls it, "Its a gift of love."

On Maternity Leave!!!

I can't believe after all these years....I finally get to have my maternity leave. Now that its here, it really feels like it came so fast! I emailed Aaron before going into work and I did cry thinking of how I won't have those little munchkins any more. Most of my kids have been told by so many that they wouldn't be able to do much. If they weren't told that, they felt it, because they are the ones getting in trouble in their other classes because they don't get it which makes them act up or not turn in assignments. I'll miss being a part of that. My fourth graders were great yesterdary. On of my girls said, "Mrs. Ilaoa, it shouldn't be a sad day. We'll miss you but, its been too long since you've seen your husband and we know you really want to hold your baby." And so we have a new chapter....We are all crossing our fingers that Aaron will be home in time. His work is trying to give him his two weeks of R&R getting him home just a few days before the due date.

Some of my fourth graders....at this point they still think that the boys and girls have cooties...that's why my sweet girl does not look happy being next to the boy :)

Yes....my kids often have the look of my one student of....what are we suppose to be doing???

My 5th graders...they crack me up. I love that my one white boy is the one throwing the signs. I can honestly say I'm not sure which sign he's throwing and he probably doesn't either...my three boys sitting next to each other are trouble. They are very protective and think they can individually take on Aaron. When I show them pictures of Aaron they say that his muscles are fake. Its cute :)

These are some of Aaron's new workouts they are doing. Please dont be offended by his tummy showing:) They had to do sets of three with bar bells in between their legs. He started at 75 lbs and went up to 135. Show off....
There are actually 2 more rings in the back for each foot. The Marine is steadying those rings while he does his push ups.

I don't think I could hang from those rings regular these days (with out being pregnant!) Glad he's working out for the two of us....
